Putting People First. Fighting for the Future.
Joe Palm is dedicated to real change in Missouri. He's running to fight for the issues that working families in St. Louis — and across the state — face every day. His priorities are shaped by decades of service as a firefighter, public health leader, and federal appointee. He’s not here to play politics — he’s here to get to work. Here’s where Joe stands:
Public Safety
Safe neighborhoods start with smart solutions.
Joe believes we must invest in community-first safety strategies that reduce violence at the root. That means funding local prevention programs, mental health crisis teams, and support systems that keep people safe — before emergencies happen. At the same time, Joe proudly supports first responders and will ensure they have the tools and training they need to protect and serve with integrity.
Education
Strong schools build strong communities.
Joe will fight to fully fund Missouri’s public schools, support our teachers, and keep politics out of the classroom. He believes every child — no matter their zip code — deserves a quality education, access to early learning, and real opportunities after graduation, including vocational and technical training programs that prepare students for success.
Healthcare & Mental Health
Healthcare is a right, not a privilege.
Joe knows that too many Missourians are uninsured, underinsured, or unable to access care. He supports expanding Medicaid, lowering prescription costs, and investing in community health centers. He also knows mental health is just as important as physical health — and he’ll fight for expanded mental health programs, addiction recovery services, and crisis intervention statewide.
Housing & Homelessness
Everyone deserves a place to call home.
Joe will work to expand affordable housing across Missouri while protecting tenants and supporting responsible development. He believes in increasing access to transitional housing and wraparound services for veterans, families, and those facing homelessness — especially in underserved urban and rural areas.
Jobs & Economic Growth
Working people should be able to thrive — not just survive.
Joe supports creating good-paying union jobs, investing in infrastructure, and helping small businesses grow. He’ll fight for job training and workforce development programs that lift people into long-term, stable careers. Missouri’s economy should work for everyone — not just the wealthy few.
Veterans & Seniors
We owe our veterans and seniors more than words — we owe them action.
Joe will protect earned benefits, expand access to care, and ensure Missouri is a place where our elders and those who served can live with dignity. From affordable housing to healthcare and caregiver support, Joe is committed to honoring those who built and defended this country.
Accountability in Government
Trust in government starts with transparency.
Joe believes Missouri needs strong ethics reforms, real transparency in campaign finance, and leaders who work for people, not special interests. He’ll advocate for stronger oversight, open records, and an end to backroom deals that leave everyday Missourians behind.
